Intellectual property policy
- We respect others' copyright and authorship, and require merchants to hold the necessary licenses.
- We follow the principles of digital copyright law (DMCA) to regulate receiving notices and removing infringing material.
- We apply intellectual-property protection standards across all Arab countries.
How to file a DMCA complaint

- Description of the protected work: an accurate description of the protected works you claim were infringed.
- Description of the infringing content: identify the material that should be removed or access restricted.
- Content URL: the exact direct links to locate the material.
- Good-faith statement that the use is made without the rights-holder's permission.
- Statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury and that you are legally authorized.

How complaints are handled
- The designated agent reviews the notice to ensure it meets the legal requirements.
- We send a copy of the notice to the merchant concerned and give them a chance to respond.
- Reported material is disabled or deleted immediately to protect the rights of those affected.
- We reserve the right to temporarily suspend services for any store that ignores the Acceptable Use Policy.
- We allow the account holder to file a formal objection if they believe the removal was made in error.
Filing a counter-notice
- The merchant has the right to request restoration of removed content if they hold licenses or consider the use fair.
- Required data: name, address, phone, and identification of the removed material and where it appeared.
- Provide a good-faith statement that the removal was the result of a mistake.
- After receiving the counter-notice we inform the complainant, and if no lawsuit is filed within 14 days the content is restored.
Repeat infringers
- A repeat infringer: someone who receives two or more removal notices within a year.
- Temporary account suspension until the investigation concludes.
- Permanent termination of service and contract cancellation in cases of serious repetition.
